The first Test of the Border-Gavaskar series between India and Australia ended in a draw in Bangalore. Though the series is held 0-0 (will play rest 3), While Aussie batsmen chipped in with runs at crucial moments, their bowlers did not let India's famed batting line-up score big. Two centuries from their key batsmen, Ricky Ponting & Mike Hussey. Indian bowlers, except Kumble, were impressive throughout the match. Fast bowlers Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma, however, bowled well in tandem on a batting track.
