India's first lunar spacecraft Chandrayaan-1 was fitted to the launch pad for rehearsals late on Saturday night and the process "went off well", a space agency official said three days ahead of the final launch. The cost of living in the lunar world is prohibitive. A litre of bottled water costs Rs 25 lakh on the moon as per Nasa estimates. Chandrayaan-1, India's maiden moon mission, may help bring down the cost of living as astrophysicists hope that the spacecraft will provide clues to the presence of water there.
