India, Pakistan agree to start trade across LoC

    After a long delay, India and Pakistan on Monday finally agreed to initiate trade across the Line of Control (LoC). The trade will begin from the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad and Poonch-Rawlakot checkpoints. The lists of items to be traded on both sides have already been exchanged. A formal announcement will be made when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Zardari meet in the US.
