Athens Olympics silver medallist Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Monday crashed out of the Beijing Games after failing to qualify for the finals of the double trap shooting event. Rathore, seen as a strong medal contender for India. Scored of 131 was just not enough in a qualifying round that saw Italian finish at the top of the heap with a total of 141. India's other shooting hope, Samresh Jung's woeful form in the Olympics continued and he failed to make the 50m pistol finals, finished 42nd position.
