32 passengers were killed and four injured when five coaches of Gautami Express caught fire in Waranagal district of Andhra Pradesh early on Friday morning. Authorities say the number of dead could go up. Thirteen charred bodies were found in a single coach. The injured have been admitted in a hospital at Warangal. Reacting on the tragic accident Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the kin of dead.
