NDTV Imagine, the country’s popular entertainment destination on television has announced the ‘Salaam-E-Comedy Awards’, in recognition of the genre of comedy films and the artists that are part of this popular genre. The Awards that aim to recognize and nurture comic talent in the country, will honor the films from Jan 1st - Apr 30th 2008 and its stars from Best Actor, Best Screenplay and Best Film to Best Comedy Character and Best Comedy Scene of the Year.
